"The world is made up of a number of people and they rarely think alike. In the long run, this seems a very wise provision. A government of and by and for one single part of the entire community cannot possibly survive."
--Hendrick Van Loon, The Story of Mankind, page 290.

I am here, and reading your blog :-)
I think that quote is true. Many Christians believe we need to have Christian governments, and while it is true that every man "should" believe in and serve God, I think the best way to go about it is from the grassroots - being lights and witnesses in our communities, so that more people will turn to Christ, and in time, they will elect more godly governments.
